Not yet designed
Other Innovations:
This program would position Morgan State as the first Historically Black College/University to focus on educating African Americans for careers in community organizing
This program would be unique among Schools of Social Work in that it is designed specifically t
fulfill Morgan's urban mission by preparing students for organizing careers, not for clinical practice or social services agency staff positions
Morgan faculty would supervise the students' field placements, enabling Morgan to place students with grassroots groups, organizing groups and other nonprofits which do not have licensed social workers on staff
Morgan hopes to host a national conference on Community Change Education for HBCUs and other colleges and nonprofits
